My first business trip(s)
Well, I peed in a cup today. That was exciting. We are waiting to see if I'm clean. I was not allowed to fill out my W4 until the piss test comes back clean... company policy. Meanwhile, out in Colorado, my new boss is planning a two week long adventure for me. This Sunday, I will be flying out of DFW to go to Detroit. Once there, I will get a rental car and dive to Adrian MI where I will undergo an intense week of training. I will return to Dallas on Friday. Rest. Tuesday morning, I will fly out of DFW again... this time for Las Vegas. In Vegas, I will train for the design software I will be using. I will come home from Vegas on Friday.
So, am I excited? Sorta. I am nervous about flying alone. I hate to fly so damn much. Every time the plane hits a tiny bit of turbulence, I freak. And the last time I flew into Detroit it wa horrible. I hated the landing, and I hated the airport. And this time, I will have to drive in the Detroit metro area to get to Adrian, and for all of you who know me, I HATE DRIVING IN CITIES! Especially alone. Vegas will be a different story though. There will be people from my office in Dallas going to Vegas, one of which I became pretty good friends with at my last job. (She was our sales rep.) So at least she and I will be together and we go down on the strip together. I have never been to Vegas, and I am looking forward to it. Detroit I can live without.
Well, I am out. I actually have to plan for a business trip... I need certain things for that I think. Like a briefcase of some kind... I prolly need to get one the laptop will fit in. Sheesh... let's face it. I don't know what the hell I am doing!
