New York is nice... Nice and quiet. There isn't much to do here, but I think in time I will learn to get over that. I took Baby Girl out to see a movie last night. We went to see Spiderman. It's the only movie playing in the one screen theater right now. But everything is pristine and beautiful. This is the place to come if you want to become one with nature. I am proud of myself in the fact that I have already spent more time outdoors in the last three days than I ever did in Dallas. It's just too damn hot in Texas to enjoy the outdoors. Up here, during the day, it's been a cool 80 degrees, but there is a breeze, so it feels cooler! At night... it's just cold to me!

I talked to Slippy last night... I was crying. I really do miss Texas. I don't regret the move, because I know it was the best thing for my daughter, and for Slippy and me, but I really do miss Dallas... a lot. I miss my friends. I miss being able to go where ever, whenever. I miss the clubs (not like I really went...) and the shops and the restaurants. I miss the opportunities that happen in a big city. I miss the noises, and the lights and even the traffic. But I will get used to all this... I am sure of it.
