Taxes and jobs
You know they say that there are only two sure things in life... death and taxes. Well, I have come to the conclusion that taxes are the reason we actually die. If not for taxes, humans might have eternal life! But, the taxes are done! It was a bitch figuring my taxes separtely, Slippy's separately and then jointly, but I got it all done. I feel much better.
And to top it all off, I finally heard from my "job" today! I start next Monday or Tuesday. The computer they ordered hasn't come in, so I will get a loaner laptop and they will put me in a spare office until I get a permanant one. AND, they offered me a salary I couldn't refuse! Yay! Happy!
So, it's been a good day...
