Jobs and Puppies
The more serious job hunt began today. I was finally able to print out resumes, and I drove around all morning handing them out. I got some strange looks. I guess people don't go around Dallas handing in resumes in office buildings. I felt like an idiot half the time. People would look at me a raise one eyebrow and say with a s-l-o-w drawl, "I'm sorry, but I don't think we are hiring now." Say that as slow as you can... you will see what I went through today.
So, I said fuck it, and went to a temp agency. I gave them a resume and will probably have to go in for a battery of tests, and then maybe they will find me a job. Maybe it will be a decent job and won't be very far away, but at this point, I don't really give a shit.
The dog stinks. We got some waterless shampoo/deodorant and used it on her. I didn't work. I just finished shampooing her in the bathtub... I used Fresia scented shampoo and conditioner... she still smells. Anyone got any ideas how to make this dog smell better? I don't want to put much else on her... I don't want to hurt her or her skin. But man, she is kinda smelly! It's only when we go outside, too. She can step outside for two seconds and stink. Maybe it's just her! Speaking of her... here she is:
