A New Home?
Oh the neglect... Oh well. It's funny because I decided that I would update only when something excited happened, but things have been going so well, that I forget to update! Go figure!
Slippy and I are in the preliminary stages of planning the building of our house! We are going to be homeowners *hopefully*... if all goes well. It's not our dreamhouse... it will be a realitively small Cape Cod style home, with three bedrooms, 1 3/4 baths, and a HUGE living room, and a cozy kitchen... but it will be OURS! It will be nestled in a quiet neighborhood about 45 minutes away from the town we are currently in. We will be close to a decent sized city... and only 1 hour from the capital, and only 3 1/2-4 hours from NYC! The house will be only 2-3 blocks from Baby Girl's school. And now that I have established myself in the teaching field, I should have no problem getting work there, too!
God, it's terribly exciting! Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well and we get to break ground as soon as it thaws! :)
