I may live in the sticks, but I finally got DSL... I just hooked it up, and got on. I will update more often now, since I can actually get online at a *sane* rate of speed. I hate crawling with dial-up. Blech.

So, on the home front, I may have a house. The guy is selling it out-right, and he came over with the bill-of-sale today. $800 for this house... and I will be a homeowner. And it is no shack either. It needs some TLC, and some somforts of home, and it will be fine. But the best part is taht it will be all mine! So what that the stove and porcelain sink are avocado green, and the linonleum floor matches... all that can be replaced. What counts is that it is structurally sound and has no plumbing or electrical problems. Now, there is one slight problem... the guy I'm buying it from is a little flaky and has a hard time making decisions, so he may back out. But nothing lost if he does... I am not holding my breath for this to go through. But I will be sure to tell the 4 people that still read this crappy, neglected diary. :)
